4. American Insurance Association Formula

Q = 4637*P^-1*(1-0.01*P^-1)

Where, Q = Amount of water required in litres/minute

P = Population in thousand.

5. Ministry of Urban Development Manual Formula

Q = 100*P^-1

Where, Q = Amount of water required in Kilo Litre/Day

P = Population in thousand.
